As the curtains draw closed and the flames extinguish, we now look back at a promise that was well kept — another exhilarating Fireside weekend etched into our brains forever. In the heart of February, festival attendees swayed, laughed, cried, and connected. You’ve never seen anything in our town quite like it. A cultural desert now invigorated by artistry and joy, we all return to our regular lives with full hearts and one question: what on earth just happened?

Each day at Fireside Festival 2024 brought a new form of excitement and unpredictability to the table. No matter your music taste nor your personal niches, the sense of unity in each crowd was undeniable.

From Friday’s electrifying Moontricks kickoff to Saturday’s seamless transition from heartfelt indie nuances to contagious hip-hop hollers, Sunday wrapped up the entire weekend with the bliss of living room warmth and filled us with warm plates of soul food. A truly spectacular fusion of arts, all of which had us relishing in the present moment with no end in sight.

What began as a house party in “2016” has evolved into a small-town phenomenon, now hosting hundreds of individuals from all walks of life. Fireside Festival has become an annual presence of excitement and culture, promising something for everyone to eagerly anticipate in each year to come.

While the Fireside Festival has seen substantial growth over its 9 years of existence, the heart and core of Fireside is still making music in the living room, where within the warmth of a shared experience lies the power to transform not just a weekend – but an entire community, infusing it with the spirit of creativity, togetherness, and joy that resonates long after the last chord fades.
